The Delhi State Science Teachers’ Forum is a non-political academic voluntary organization of science teachers , teacher educators and educational administrators of National Capital Territory of Delhi . It came into existence in the year 1979 . It has nearly 5000ordinary members , 1200 life members and 300 institution members . They include teachers from primary to university level . The forum aims at popularizing science for the masses and also working for the improvement of teaching learning process of science , disseminating scientific information , inculcating scientific temper and values at all levels of school education.
